According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are seriously contemplating another bid for Chelsea playmaker Willian. The Brazilian star has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for quite some time now, but even with that being the case, it always felt like a deal between these two parties was some distance apart. Willian has yet to sign a new contract with the club and that’s been the case for quite some time, with some of the main concerns being whether or not the saga was going to get dragged out for too long.
He could be available during next year’s summer transfer window, and while that may seem like quite a long time away, it’ll come around in the blink of an eye.
Barca already have an incredibly strong squad and that’s not exactly a secret, but Willian could serve as the kind of underrated attacking star that would give them even more depth.
