Barcelona attempt to keep hold of Fati

According to a recent report from Marca, Barcelona have stepped up their efforts to try and renew the contract of Ansu Fati.

The 18-year-old sensation has been an absolute revelation for the Spanish giants ever since making his way into the first team and Barca are pretty eager to keep hold of him – as you’d expect. Negotiations are said to be in their final stages and after the renewal of Pedri is announced, the club will then move forward with Fati.

There are definitely some financial issues on display for the club to deal with in the months and years to come but if they’re going to have any kind of future, they need players to build around.

Fati and Pedri stand head and shoulders above the rest in that regard and if they can start to build up even more momentum, who knows how far they could go for club and country.
