According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona are calm and composed in regards to the future of goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen. There has been some worry over the course of the last few weeks that ter Stegen could wind up serving as the replacement for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, with Kepa edging closer and closer towards leaving the club.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard isn’t afraid when it comes to being a little bit more ambitious than most clubs around European football in the summer transfer window, and he wouldn’t be concerned with the ramifications of going after a player like ter Stegen.
Barca themselves have lost quite a bit of their allure throughout the course of the current campaign, with the hope being that ter Stegen was going to serve as a major star for them going forward.
Whether or not that vision lasts beyond the summer is a different matter.
