Barcelona could go after Haaland

According to a recent report from Sport, there’s a chance that Barcelona could wind up trying to sign Erling Haaland in the future.

This is because the club’s presidential candidate Joan Laporta has reportedly promised to make the deal happen if he is successfully elected into the role. Haaland is currently considered to be one of the best goalscorers in world football and given his age, it seems as if he’s only going to get better as the years go on – although, that isn’t a guarantee.

Barca’s bitter rivals Real Madrid are also very interested in the prospect of signing Haaland, but the most recent reports indicate that they would rather put the focus on trying to acquire Kylian Mbappe.

Whatever the case may be it does feel as if we’re going through an important transition phase at the Nou Camp, and if Lionel Messi does end up leaving, they need a big signing to try and fill his boots.
