Argentine defender Gabriel Milito returned to action after an 18-month injury lay-off on Wednesday as Barcelona defeated Bolivar CF of Bolivia 4-1 in a friendly match.

“It’s a very special day for me,” said the 29-year-old Milito, who suffered knee ligament damage in the Champions League semi-final defeat to Manchester United in 2008.

Garbi Melito you are welcome. I think it is good that you are back at this time of the year when Toure and Kieta will be leaving for national duty in January and also with Carlos age nearing its completion the fans of Barca whole heartedly welcome you.
