Barcelona don’t want to sign Guendouzi?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Quique Setien is not interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi – contrary to what many fans believe.

The controversial youngster has been pretty much exiled from the club over the course of the last few weeks by manager Mikel Arteta, to the point where it seems like just a matter of time before he leaves North London.

Barca have had their own share of issues with keeping hold of big names this season, but it doesn’t seem like Setien is willing to take a risk on someone like Guendouzi during the summer.

Arteta has been clear and concise in putting his foot down since making his way back to the Emirates, but if he wants to make it all the way to the top with this club, he needs to make difficult decisions – and it feels like he’s doing that with the Frenchman.
