Catalan giants Barcelona are hot on the trail of Wolfsburg hotshot Kevin De Bruyne, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Camp Nou outfit missed out on top target Marco Reus as he opted to extend his stay with Borussia Dortmund and they appear to have turned their attention towards the Belgium star.
Barcelona officials have been impressed with De Bruyne’s performances in Bundesliga and Europa League, and are desperate to lure him to Catalunya.
That will be no easy task though seeing as a host of top European sides are keeping close tabs as the midfielder enjoyed a thoroughly impressive campaign this term.
De Bruyne, 23, has been in stunning form this season, having managed 15 goals and 25 assists in 46 competitive outings.
And as things stand now, Wolfsburg face a real battle on their hands in an attempt to hold on to their prized asset for another year at least.
