According to Sport, Barcelona have now ruled out the possibility of signing Paul Pogba during the summer transfer window. The World Cup-winning midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp from Old Trafford, and his relationship with Jose Mourinho has supposedly been a big reason for those links. However, if this story is to be believed, then the Frenchman will indeed be remaining in Manchester for at least a few more months.
Paul Pogba was one of three players alongside Adrien Rabiot and Frenkie de Jong who were considered to be primary targets, but it seems as if time is going to run out for the Spanish giants. Pogba will now attempt to help United ‘steady the ship’ so to speak, after two back to back Premier League losses have left many wondering whether Mourinho could be the first big managerial casualty of the new season.
