According to a recent report from Marca, Barcelona are one of three Spanish clubs set to enter the race to sign Wolves forward Rafa Mir.
Mir, 23, is currently out on loan with Huesca from Wolverhampton Wanderers. While many weren’t expecting much from him when he first made the move over, Mir has blown everyone away with a brilliant campaign that has been him become one of La Liga’s most acclaimed strikers.
Wolves seem to be resigned to the fact that he’s going to leave, perhaps as soon as the summer transfer window, with Huesca being under the same sort of understanding.
Barca, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are set to throw their name into the hat with a parade of top European clubs already being in the mix.
Mir himself will likely be overwhelmed by the options that lay in front of him but one thing is for sure – his agent isn’t going to be without work over the next few months.
