Barcelona are interested in signing Joshua Kimmich in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. Kimmich is out of contract at Bayern Munich at the end of the season, and Barcelona are reportedly keen on securing the services of the Germany international on a free transfer.
Kimmich is one of the best players in the world and is able to operate as a right-back or as a midfielder. The 29-year-old Germany international have won the Bundesliga title eight times, the DFK-Pokal on three occasions, and the UEFA Champions League once with Bayern so far in his career.
Barcelona are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 12 points from four matches, four points ahead of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal, who are second, third and fourth respectively in the standings. Meanwhile, Bayern currently find themselves second in the Bundesliga table with six points from two matches, level on points with 1. FC Heidenheim and RB Leipzig, who are first and third respectively.
