Barcelona are interested in signing Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Barcelona think that Neves would be the long-term successor to veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets.
Neves’s agent is Jorge Mendes, who reportedly has a good relationship with Barcelona president Joan Laporta. And that could reportedly help the La Liga and European giants in their quest to sign the Portugal international midfielder, who is one of the best players at Wolves.
Neves has made 25 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves so far this season. The 25-year-old has scored four goals and given two assists in those games
