Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Spanish giants Barcelona are keeping close tabs on AS Roma full-back Alessandro Florenzi.
With Aleix Vidal widely expected to leave at the end of the current campaign, the Catalans are in the market for a new right-sided defender.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Barcelona are now looking at AS Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi, who once scored a remarkable goal from the halfway line in the Champions League clash against the Camp Nou outfit.
The 26-year-old can operate at right-back, right wing or in the middle of the park, and the Catalans are considering a summer move for his services.
The problem is that AS Roma are not prepared to let him leave, even though his current deal is due to expire in June 2019.
