German daily newspaper Bild has suggested that Spanish giants Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl.
The Catalans sporting director Ariedo Braida was in the stands at Weserstadion as the Millionaires enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Werder.
And while he also scouted Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and few other star players, the Italian was taking a closer look at youngster Julian Weigl.
It is believed that Barcelona scouts have been impressed with the 20-year-old footballer and they are seriously thinking about luring him to Camp Nou in the near future.
Julian Weigl arrived at Signal-Iduna Park in a surprise move from 1860 Munich in the summer, and he shocked everyone by nailing down a regular starting berth in Thomas Tuchel’s side.
The talented central midfielder went on to start 10 Bundesliga games, while making another substitute appearance, and he also featured seven times during club’s Europa League campaign.
