Barcelona will move to sign Manchester City’s Jesus Navas, according to the Mail Online.
The La Liga giants are looking to strengthen their attacking options when the transfer window reopens, and have identified the former Sevilla man as one of a number of targets.
The winger has started all four of City’s games so far this season, though his first team opportunities are set to be more limited due to the arrival of Kevin de Bruyne from Wolfsburg.
Since moving to England in the summer of 2013, the twenty-nine year old has since racked up ninety-nine appearances for Manuel Pellegrini’s side in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
Internationally, he has been capped thirty-five times for Spain, scoring three goals and was part of their victorious World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012 squads.
Barca, who have won their opening two games so far this season, have also been linked with moves for Celta Vigo’s Nolito, Antonio Candreva of Lazio and Real Sociedad’s Carlos Vela.
