Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Udinese full-back Silvan Widmer, according to Sport.
It is no secret that the Catalans plan to recruit a new right-sided defender in the summer and they are currently looking at a number of footballers.
Joao Cancelo and Nelson Semedo are believed to be their top targets, but Udinese star Silvan Widmer is reportedly on the list as well.
The Switzerland international has been performing at a very high level for several years now and he looks ready for a big club move.
Italian giants Inter Milan, AC Milan and AS Roma are believed to be keen on his services as well, meaning that Barcelona will face competition for his signature if they decide to pursue their interest.
Silvan Widmer joined Udinese from Aarau back in July 2013 and went on to make 93 Serie A appearances for the Zebrette.
