Barcelona go after Depay

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will attempt to push through a deal for Memphis Depay.

The plan is for manager Ronald Koeman to insist on it once we enter the January transfer window as he desperately attempts to turn the club’s season around. Depay has been a man on the wish list of Barca for many, many months now, and ever since he left Manchester United, he’s been proving why.

While Depay alone probably isn’t going to be the sole catalyst behind a major change, signing him could be a bit sign of intent from Koeman. That does depend on whether or not he’s even able to keep his job beyond the next few weeks, but if he is given an opportunity to keep going at the Nou Camp until the end of the season, who knows what he could accomplish.

Depay, on the other hand, potentially has a big decision on his hands.
