According to a recent report from the Mirror, Barcelona are leading the race to potentially sign Ruben Neves next summer.
The Portuguese sensation is part of a Wolves side that is struggling to make waves down the bottom of the Premier League and while there’s a good chance they’ll turn things around with a new manager coming into Molineux, you’d have to imagine this will be the final season that fans get to see Ruben Neves at the club.
As for Barca, they view Neves as someone who can take charge from Sergio Busquets, with the rumour being that the veteran is set to leave the club at the end of his current contract.
Neves has spent the last few years proving himself to be one of the most capable midfielders in the Premier League and probably in all of world football, and he looks set to continue that trend heading into the World Cup.
