Barcelona go after Tielemans

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona are considering a move to sign Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The belief is that Barca are focusing on going after players who have expiring deals, likely to help their own financial situation – which hasn’t been in the best of places for quite some time now.

Barcelona have a fresh, new look squad but if some of these prospective deals do feel a bit random, even when it comes to someone as talented as Tielemans.

The Leicester sensation is part of a team that continues to struggle towards the bottom of the Premier League table and if he’s serious about furthering his career, heading elsewhere may not be the worst of ideas – especially if it’s to one of the biggest clubs in world football.

You’d have to think, though, given his status, Tielemans may also be able to scout out a move to another Premier League outfit.
