Barcelona have bid rejected for Dembele

France Football understands that Barcelona have had an official proposal rejected for Rennes forward Ousmane Dembele.

The Catalans have reportedly set their sights on the Ligue 1 starlet and they have been closely monitoring his performances over the last couple of months.

According to France Football, Barcelona also had a €35 million bid rejected for the talented striker in recent weeks.

The 18-year-old exploded onto the big stage this season, scoring impressive 9 goals in 18 league appearances, and it appears it is only a matter of time before he leaves les Bretons for greener pastures.

However, Rennes clearly believe he is worth much more than what the Catalans offered for his services, with few more top clubs expected to join the race in the coming months.
