French media outlet Le Parisien is reporting that Barcelona are readying summer bid for Paris Saint-Germain hotshot Angel di Maria.
It is believed that the Argentine footballer has decided to look for a new challenge and the Saints are prepared to listen to offers for his services.
According to Le Parisien, Barcelona plan to take advantage of the situation and attempt to lure the former Real Madrid star to Camp Nou.
The Catalans hope that Leo Messi will be able to persuade his Argentina teammate to move to Catalunya, and take over from Andres Iniesta, who has entered the closing stage of his career.
Following a largely disappointing spell with Manchester United, Di Maria succeeded in getting his career back on track and he managed a total of 29 goals and 40 assists in 90 competitive outings for the Saints.
