Spanish media outlet El Mundo Deportivo has suggested that Barcelona are hot on the trail of Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Catalans have plans to further reinforce their front line in January and the Frenchman is one of the first names on their hit list.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona sporting director was at Estadio da Luz last night to make a check on his target.
Even if Jose Mourinho insists that Martial is an important player at Old Trafford, the reality is that the 21-year-old only started 2 Premier League fixtures this season.
The Frenchman clearly deserves more playing time having managed impressive 5 goals and 6 assists in just 449 minutes of competitive football this season.
That is one of the reasons why Martial might be ready to consider an offer from Barcelona in the January window.
