Barcelona in no rush over Griezmann

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona are in no rush to complete the signing of Antoine Griezmann. The belief is that there are concerns in the dressing room at the Nou Camp regarding how suitable the Frenchman will be to the operations at Barca. Atletico want to get the deal done in order to try and go after Joao Felix from Benfica, as they’ll require the funds from Barcelona in order to take the next step in making that happen. This proposed transfer has been in the works for longer than most of us care to admit, with Griezmann stating last summer that he wanted to stay at the club.

Now, of course, it’s clear to see that he’ll be leaving Madrid for pastures new, and not a moment too soon for Barca. The Spanish champions have long since been searching for their next elite level forward, and it seems like they may have found him.
