Barcelona in talks for Ballou Tabla

Spanish giants Barcelona are hot on the trail of Montreal Impact starlet Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla, according to The Washington Post.

The Catalans have been impressed with the youngster’s performances in MLS and they have already opened talks with a view of bringing him to Camp Nou in the future.

Born in Ivory Coast, Tabla was raised in Canada and has been a member of Montreal Impact since 2012.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a bright start to his senior career, making 21 MLS appearances last term and scoring 2 goals.

Tabla is also believed to be on the radar of Serie A leaders Napoli, but Barcelona appear to be leading the chase for his services at the moment.
