Barcelona interested in Cavani

According to a recent report from Fichajes, Barcelona are ready to open talks over a new deal to sign Edinson Cavani.

While he’s still known as one of the most natural finishers in the Premier League, it certainly feels like the stay of Edinson Cavani at Manchester United is slowly coming to an end. The Uruguay international has seen his playing time reduced drastically in recent months and because of that, the search for his next destination has begun.

Barcelona are the ones currently leading the charge and want to begin a dialogue over a deal being struck. However, instead of having to pay for him in the January transfer window, they want to land him on a free at the end of the season.

As much as that may appeal, you’d have to imagine Manchester United will want to try and cash in on him if given the chance to do so in January.
