Barcelona are interested in signing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. Brazil international forward Firmino has decided to leave former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool at the end of the season when he becomes a free agent, and La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly keen on snapping him up.
Firmino has been on the books of Liverpool since 2015 and has been superb for the Merseyside club over the years. The Brazilian has won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup and the FiFA Club World Cup once each so far during his time at Anfield.
Barcelona are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 62 points from 24 matches, as many as nine points ahead of second-placed and second-placed Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently find fifth in the Premier League table with 42 points from 25 matches, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 26 games.
