Barcelona are interested in signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in the summer of 2021, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that the Spanish and European giants could make a move for the 23-year-old at the end of the season.
With Sergio Aguero injured in recent weeks, Jesus has played quite a lot for City this season. According to WhoScored, the Brazil international has made 13 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Citizens so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process. The former has also made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for Pep Guardiola’s side this campaign, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
City are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 65 points from 27 matches, while Barcelona currently find themselves second in the La Liga standings with 53 points from 25 games, five points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who have played 24 games.
