Barcelona interested in Sensi swap?

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona are ready and willing to offer Ivan Rakitic to Inter Milan in favour of receiving Stefano Sensi as part of a swap deal. The Italian is currently on loan at the club from Sassuolo, but Inter would be able to sign him on a permanent basis for £21.5 million. Of course, some fans wouldn’t see much of a point in signing someone just to let them go, but Inter do seem to be pretty keen on the idea of signing Ivan Rakitic.

The Croatian midfielder has been unable to make quite as many waves as he would’ve liked during the last few months at the Nou Camp, to the point where he’s actively looking for a new challenge.

Barcelona already have a stacked squad so they won’t have too many issues with Rakitic leaving, but if he’s going to join one of their big European rivals, they’ll want to make sure the offer is worth their time.
