Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that Barcelona have been showing interest in Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa.
The highly rated footballer is widely expected to leave the Bavarians this summer and new Barca coach Ernesto Valverde wants to bring him to Camp Nou.
Latest reports suggest that the 26-year-old could be available for as little as €25 million, but the Catalans will face stiff competition from other top clubs such as Juventus and PSG.
After impressing during his debut season at Allianz Arena, Costa struggled for form last term, as the lack of motivation after becoming disillusioned with life in Munich clearly affected his performances.
Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde clearly believes the Brazilian will be able to quickly rediscover his best form, but it remains to be seen whether the Camp Nou outfit can win the chase for the winger’s signature.
