The Catalan club continue their search for solutions at the right back and the latest name to be added to the growing list of potential targets is Southampton defender Cedric Soares.
Saints right-back has excelled under Claude Puel in the Premier league this season and gained plenty of attention from all around Europe, but Barcelona are definitely the biggest name on the list of suitors.
With Aleix Vidal ruled out with a long-term injury, Barcelona only have Sergi Roberto filling in the deficient position and a search has been launched for viable option in the back.
Plenty of names have been mentioned, but a £25 million move for Cedric Soares did come as a surprise of sort with Portuguese media outlet Abola claiming that Sporting CP will pocket 15% of any future sale as part of the deal with the English club.
The Portugal international has thus far made 19 Premier League appearances thus far.
