RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has emerged as one of the hottest properties in German football.
The 21-year-old German international has gained plenty of admirers from across the European continent after a successful season in the Bundesliga last year.
Timo Werner scored 21 goals in 31 league outings last term. The RB Leipzig striker continued where he left off this year as well, having already bagged five goals in 6 Bundesliga matches for his club.
The list of Timo Werner’s admirers already has the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid, but the Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo deports that the Catalan giants Barcelona have also joined the race to sign the talented striker.
Barcelona are thought to be mulling a January approach for the striker who is unlikely to be allowed to leave until next summer.
RB Leipzig travel to FC Koln on Sunday hoping to bounce back from their Europa League disappointment at Besiktas. The Red Bulls stand at 1/1 to claim all three points against the Billy Goats.
