Barcelona have entered the race for Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Real Madrid have already been working on a deal for Alexander-Arnold, but now bitter rivals Barcelona have joined the hunt for the England international right-back.
Alexander-Arnold is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season. The 26-year-old, who can also play as a midfielder, has so far refused to sign a new deal with the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners and, as things stand, he will become a free agent at the end of the season.
The defender has been on the books of Liverpool his entire career so far. Alexander-Arnold came through the Liverpool youth academy and has established himself in the first team. The 26-year-old has won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League with the Reds so far in his career.
