Catalan daily newspaper Sport is reporting that Barcelona are seriously considering a bid for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
The Catalans may boast a world-class attacking trio in Messi, Suarez and Neymar, but coach Luis Enrique also plans to add a tall forward to his ranks that he could use when things are not going according to plan.
And while the likes of Mario Gomez, Edin Dzeko and Graziano Pelle are also being mentioned, Juventus striker Fernando Llorente is reportedly their primary target.
Barcelona’s technical department rates the former Athletic Bilbao star highly and they have been alerted by the player’s availability.
Namely, with Llorente having lost his place in the starting line-up at Juventus Arena, it is believed the Bianconeri would be prepared to sell him at a reasonable price, especially considering they signed him on a free transfer two years ago.
The 30-year-old has also been linked with Livepool, Tottenham, Sevilla and Valencia, but no doubt a move to Camp Nou would appeal to him the most.
