La Liga leaders Barcelona are hot on the trail of Lazio forward Luis Alberto, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The 25-year-old has been one of club’s star performers this season, having managed 4 goals and 6 assists in 15 Serie A appearances.
Reports from Spain suggest that Luis Alberto has been under the watchful eye of Barcelona sporting director Roberto Fernandez, who is looking to bring the talented winger to Camp Nou.
The interesting thing is that Alberto spent one season with Barcelona B on loan from Sevilla, bagging 11 goals in 38 league outings.
The highly rated footballer did well to kick-start his career at Lazio after a disappointing spell with Liverpool, and this has been without a doubt his most successful season yet.
