La Liga leaders Barcelona have been keeping close tabs on Lyon centre-back Mouctar Diakhaby, according to Sport.
The Catalans began rejuvenating their back line by bringing Samuel Umtiti last summer and they are now after another les Gones starlet.
Sport claims that Barcelona have been impressed with Lyon stopper Mouctar Diakhaby, who could now follow in Umtiti’s footsteps.
The 20-year-old has been in fine form ever since he came through the youth ranks and was promoted to the first team set-up.
Diakhaby has so far amassed 26 league appearances, scoring 2 goals, while also featuring in nine Europa League matches.
The youngster has a contract until June 2022 at Parc OL and is also on the radar of Manchester City.
