Barcelona are weighing up move for Valencia keeper Vicente Guaita, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
With Victor Valdes set to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season, the Catalans have started the search for his replacement.
The Catalans have been linked with a number of high-profile shot-stoppers, with Valencia goalie Vicente Guaita the latest of those.
Barcelona have been following the 25-year-old for a while now, and they could make an official bid for the player’s services at the end of the season.
Given that the Catalans have excellent relationship with Valencia chiefs and taking into account that Guaita is currently not regarded as a first team regular at Mestalla, there is every chance that the two clubs would come to an agreement at the end of the current campaign.
The highly rated goalkeeper has a contract until June 2015 with los Che, and a €30 million release clause.
