Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo can reveal that Marco Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli held another meeting with Barcelona representatives following Champions League clash with Juventus.
The Catalans giants have reportedly made the Italian playmaker their top transfer target and have already moved forward with their plan of getting the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Verratti’s agent is believed to have met with Barcelona executives on a couple of occasions over the past few weeks, which suggests that talks between two sides are in advanced stages.
Marco Verrratti would reportedly relish the opportunity to wear a Barcelona shirt and his agent Donato Di Campi wanted to make sure that Barcelona have big plans for his protegee before making any concrete moves in the transfer market.
French champions are thought to be unwilling to let their playmaker leave, but with elimination from Champions League and possible loss in the race for Ligue 1 title, Les Parisiens could face a difficult challenge of keeping the highly-rated midfielder around for too long.
Verratti has been with PSG since 2012 and has so far played 127 league matches for the French giants.
