Barcelona launch Messi complaint

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Barcelona have lodged a complaint regarding Lionel Messi’s proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The belief is that they have some kind of issue with the structure of the deal and have taken it up with the European Commission.

It comes after confirmation came through of Lionel Messi’s departure from the Spanish giants after 20 years of success with the club. Both parties were said to be happy with the prospect of Messi remaining at the Nou Camp, but in the end, it just didn’t quite come to fruition with La Liga’s financial regulations standing in the way.

PSG are hoping to now swoop in and sign the Argentine which would add to their already-incredible attacking ranks that features Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Whether or not Barca’s appeal is going to wind up getting in the way of that, though, remains to be seen.
