According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona are currently leading the race to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
While Neves has made it clear that he loves Wolverhampton Wanderers and values his time at the club, he’s also made no secret of the fact that he’s hungry for more in his career.
Manchester United were believed to be ahead in the charge to try and sign him previously, but at this point, Barca have jumped into the lead.
Right alongside them sit Arsenal who believe they can convince him to join their growing operation at the Emirates.
Alas, given the fact they can’t offer him Champions League football, you’d have to imagine Barca are going to continue being the frontrunners – at least for the time being.
Still, the summer transfer window is long and if a move like this gets delayed even somewhat, it could swing the door open for Wolves to convince him to stay.
