Dutch defender Daley Blind is one of the three players who have reportedly been placed on a transfer list at Manchester United as Red Devils’ new boss Jose Mourinho is ready to offload the 26-year-old versatile player alongside Juan Mata and Memphis Depay.
According to Catalan daily Sport, Spanish champions Barcelona are ready to take advantage of such situation and are preparing a summer move for the Netherlands international who was one of Louis van Gaal’s key performers over the past two seasons.
Former Ajax defender who can fill in at centre-back, left-back and defensive midfielder has apparently been deemed surplus to the requirements of former Chelsea manager and Sport reports that Blind’s agent Rob Jansen has already offered his client’s services to a number of teams with Barcelona being one of them.
Daley Blind arrived to Old Trafford two years ago in a €17 million deal and Barcelona are believed to be looking at around €18 million to land the versatile Dutchman.
