Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Koke, Arturo Vidal and Ramires, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalans may be well equipped in the midfield department at the moment, but they want to be prepared for the worse case scenario and continue to monitor some of world’s best players.
El Mundo Deportivo understands that there are currently three high-profile midfielders on their list of targets.
Atletico Madrid hotshot Koke is the only Spanish player on the list, but the 21-year-old is seen as a great prospect for the future.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are also interested in Juventus star Arturo Vidal, although they are well aware it would take a substantial offer to prize the Chilean away from Turin.
Last but not least, the Catalans are looking at Chelsea midfielder Ramires, who could also prove to be difficult to acquire given that he is integral to first team plans of Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
