Barcelona linked to Lucas Digne

Spanish daily AS understands that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Lille full-back Lucas Digne.

Even if Jordi Alba has made the left-back position at Camp Nou his own, the Catalans are hoping to sign another left-sided defender to provide cover for the Spain international.

According to AS, Barcelona have made Lille defender Lucas Digne one of their top targets in the summer transfer window.

The Catalans scouts have been regular at Lille matches this season, and they seem to have been convinced that the youngster has what it takes to succeed at Camp Nou.

Other European giants are also showing interest in the 19-year-old, but it is believed the player would not be able to resist the opportunity to join Barcelona.

Lucas Digne, who came through the youth ranks at Lille, has already made 42 Ligue 1 appearances for les Gones, while he scored his first ever goal for the club in the Champions League clash against FC Copenhagen.
