Barcelona are interested in signing Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard, according to Fichajes. Pavard can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, and Barcelona have identified him as a potential target to reinforce their backline.
Pavard has been on the books of Inter since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Bayern Munich. The France international defender has done well for Inter and has established himself as one of the best players in his position in Serie A. The 28-year-old has given one assist in four Serie A matches so far this season and provided two assists in 21 Serie A starts in the 2023-24 campaign.
Inter are fourth in the Serie A table at the moment with 11 points from six matches, two points behind leaders Napoli. Meanwhile, Barcelona currently find themselves at the top of the La Liga table with 21 points from eight matches, three points ahead of second-placed and defending champions Real Madrid.
