Barcelona linked with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland

Barcelona are interested in signing Erling Haaland from Manchester City, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Real Madrid have long held an interest in Haaland, and now bitter La Liga rivals Barcelona are positioning themselves for a deal for the Norway international striker in the future.

90min has claimed that there is a clause in Haaland’s contract at City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season, that will leave him for £150 million in 2025. It is then that Barcelona reportedly plan to make their move for the striker.

Haaland is one of the best players in the world and has been superb for City. The striker moved to the Citizens in the summer of 2022. The 23-year-old scored 36 goals and gave eight assists in 33 Premier League starts last season. So far this campaign, the Norwegian ace has scored six goals and given one assist in four league matches for Pep Gaurdiola’s side.
