Barcelona are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Barcelona head coach Xavi is personally looking into the prospect of bringing Ceballos to Camp Nou for next season and beyond.
Ceballos is out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season, and no new deal is in place yet. The 26-year-old former Arsenal loanee has been on the books of Madrid since 2017 and is not guaranteed a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting lineup at the moment.
The Spain international midfielder has made 15 starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga for Madrid this season, providing three assists in the process. Ceballos has also made six substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Los Blancos this campaign.
