Barcelona are interested in signing Javi Guerra from Valencia in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Barcelona Sporting Director Xavi has been impressed with Guerra and is keen on a deal to bring the 21-year-old midfielder to Camp Nou.
Guerra is one of the best young midfielders in Spain and has done well for Valencia. The 21-year-old has made 28 starts and seven substitute appearances in La Liga this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process. The midfielder has also played once in the Copa del Rey for Los Che.
Barcelona are second in the La Liga table with 82 points from 37 matches, while Valencia are ninth in the standings with 48 points from 37 games. It will be interesting to see if Los Che do sell Guerra and how much they want for him.
