Barcelona are showing interest in Malaga playmaker Isco, El Mundo Deportivo has revealed.
The Catalans have made signing two defenders their top priority, but they are also thinking about reinforcing the attacking department.
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez, and now they are paired with Malaga midfielder Francisco Roman Alarcon Suarez, better known as Isco.
The 20-year-old midfielder only joined Malaga from Valencia last summer, but he quickly become a key member of the squad at La Rosaleda and had a major role to play in team’s push towards Champions League qualification.
Isco was also included in Spain’s preliminary squad for the Euro 2012, which proves he is held in high regard by the national team staff.
The player has four years left on his deal at La Rosaleda and a €20 million release clause, but a move to Camp Nou would be too hard to refuse.
