El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Barcelona have made the final decision on Everton forward Gerard Deulofeu.
The talented footballer is currently on loan at AC Milan, but the Catalans have until the end of June to trigger a €12 million buy-back clause.
And while they had some doubts at first, reports from Spain claim that Barcelona have decided to activate said clause.
That does not mean that Deulofeu will spend next season at Camp Nou, as that will depend on the new head coach, but considering the heavy interest in the player’s services, the Catalans didn’t want to miss out on a good opportunity to either get a quality player for a bargain price or turn a nice profit from his sale.
Gerard Deulofeu has been enjoying regular football at Stadio San Siro and he managed one goal and three assists in 10 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri.
