According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are set to make a final bid to sign Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants for longer than most fans can even remember, and for a long time, it seemed like a matter of when and not if it would go through. While some City fans may have been hoping that he’d end up staying, Barca are still going to give their all to make a deal happen.
The price would be around €12 million and Barca are hopeful that they can get it over the finish line before the window shuts.
Garcia has an incredible amount of potential but with City really struggling in their defensive ranks right now, there are some big questions to be answered by Pep Guardiola.
The teenager wouldn’t be the sole answer to their problems – but he could definitely help.
