According to a recent report from ESPN, Barcelona have made a third bid to try and sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.
It’s become crystal clear in the last couple of months that Lewandowski is very invested in the idea of leaving Bayern in search of pastures new. He’s had a lot of good times and enjoyed a lot of success with the German giants but now, he wants to test himself in a new way – and seemingly, in an entirely new league.
Barca have so far been turned back but this most recent offer is believed to be worth in excess of €40 million.
Unfortunately for the Spaniards, they have yet to receive an official response from Bayern who continue to drag their feet on the situation.
Lewandowski is still good enough at his age to do some serious damage wherever he goes, and we’re intrigued to see how he’ll do elsewhere.
