Reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona are no longer interested in signing Frenchman Karim Benzema from Olympique Lyonnais. According to ‘Sport’, Benzema, for whom a €45 million bid from Barca was rejected in the summer transfer window, is no longer in the club’s sights.
In fact the striker would command an exorbitant transfer fee, and he recently professed his love for Real Madrid. Moreover, Barcelona have every intention of continuing with Samuel Eto’o.
